The castle grounds are open every day from 7.30am to 10.30pm.

The Castle and Museum Reception and Ticket Office is open 7 days a week in July and August and from Tuesday to Sunday the rest of the year.

Weekdays, from 9.30am to 12.30pm and from 1.30pm to 6pm. Weekends and some public holidays from 11am to 6pm; last admission to the museums: 30 minutes before closing time.

Upcoming free weekends: 3 and 4 October + 7 and 8 November + 5 and 6 December 2026

Information for visitors to the Museum of Fine Arts

Renovation work is taking place in the technical areas of the Museum of Fine Arts until the end of 2026.

Noise disturbance may occur on weekdays from early September until the end of November 2026.

Technical upgrade work means that the platforms for visitors with reduced mobility are out of service.

The areas inaccessible to visitors with reduced mobility are:

• From 15 October to 4 December: the Écoles du Nord galleries

• From 15 to 18 October: the Lise Duclaux exhibition

• From 7 November to 4 December: the Yann Kebbi exhibition

All other galleries are accessible via a lift.
